yourZecretZanta can't remember if I found this when checking stuff out on epitonic in 1999, or trying to find more Native Nod stuff, but I loved this Sultans lp a lot and Nanzen has such an amazing intro that sets a perfect tone for the whole record. Favorite track: Nanzen Kills a Cat.

Don Armadillo definitely one of the best 90's indie rock albums. Favorite track: The Good, The Bad, and The Blind.

microviolence it is crazy how good and flawless still..this record sounds after all these years of its release (1996) no fillers at all and so fresh could have been release today. 10/10 Favorite track: The Young Alchemists.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
